EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Outside of my study time I was a member of the Radio, Current Affairs and
Drama Society, for which I led the reviewing section. This involved the
co-ordination of sending other members to review the latest film and theatre
shows in Brighton and required that I maintained good communication with
the various managers of the cinemas and theatres. These reviews were then
transmitted on the campus radio station. I was a member of the creative
writing group which submitted prose and poetry to analyse and discuss. I
belonged to the photographic society and have skills in black and white
darkroom developing. I also took advantage of the language centre on campus
by keeping up a basic level of French language skills which I practiced
with foreign students.
