INTERESTS

  

Movies, movies, movies: I thoroughly enjoy the cinema. Whilst at university I was a member of the campus radio station carrying out and organising cinema reviews to be broadcast on air. Favourite directors include: Ridley Scott, Michael Mann, Francis Ford Coppola and Oliver Stone.
Having studied English Literature as a mature student I naturally have my head in at least one book at any given time. My tastes range from Victorian social realism to the early modernists to science fiction. Favourite authors include: Thomas Hardy, Graham Greene, Philip K. Dick.
Cycling, more as a means of transport and default way to stay in reasonable shape than being into serious off road cycling. Living in Brighton also makes it both good fun for some sea front cycling plus its generally a very bike aware town with plenty of cycle paths.
Other interests include eating out, travelling, surfing the web, football (watching not playing), TV documentaries and news programmes. Although my favourite TV programme will have to be the Simpsons.
